We are so happy to have you join our family. We are not your typical dance studio just taking classes and learning to dance, we are so much more. Students are taught self-love through our dance class talks and group activities which empowers them to be the best version of themselves.

Our dance program was built with the intention of developing dancers physical and mental well being so that they have the ability to safely and positively perform for years to come.
Divine Love Dance Academy has a strong focus on West African Dance which is one of the oldest styles of dance. African Dance is a great way for students to learn about culture while having fun dancing to high energy drum beats. We are not your typical African dance team, as we will be seen doing African Dance to all types of music mixed with Acro dance. Dancers Joining our program will be showered with much love, taught the discipline of dance, commitment and given the necessary tools to succeed in the dance world.
Mission
At Divine Love Dance our mission is to provide a safe and welcoming environment where children can learn the art of dance. Our cultural dance classes strive to empower children to become the best version of themselves, at the same time instilling self-love so that they can be successful socially, emotionally and physically while allowing them to be creative and have fun.
Principals

Uniforms
At Divine Love Dance uniforms are one of our top priorites, all students are required to wear uniforms for every class. Uniforms represent unity and it helps keeps the dancers in alignment while dancing. Divine Love Dance uniforms are black leotards, black footless leggings/shorts and dance lappas for African dance class. All students are required to be in uniforms to attend class.

About Us
WELCOME TO DIVINE LOVE DANCE ACADEMY
We are so happy to have you join our family. We are not your typical dance team just taking classes and learning to dance we are so much more. Students will have a variety of events to attend throughout the year from paint n snack parties, etiquette lunches, Holiday appreciation dinners, girls outings, skate parties, father and daughter dance and more. We like to say we are a sisterhood. We are looking for young girls who are passionate about dance but who also would like to be apart of a family.
Sister Qa'hatet
Sister Qa'hatet has dedicated her life into teaching children dance along with instilling in them principals that will take them through their adulthood. She started African dance at the age of 7 and has been dancing ever since. She danced with a grouped call Noopooh Cultural Performers where she learned African dance and fell in loved with it. The group was so much more than dance to her and she was able to build everlasting bonds which lead her creating her own group. She has always had a passion to teach not just dance but to really educate which is why she went to college for Early Child Hood Education. Her dream is to build a dance program that teaches children movement and education all over the world.
African Dance
Divine Love Dance is an African Dance Team who is dedicated to teaching the youth about the history and culture of African dance. Dancers are taught rhythm, movement, music and history during every class period. African dance is a story telling style of dance that has meaning behind every dance. There are several styles within African dance and each one has a significant meaning from celebration , to farming , to fishing , to rights of passage , to beautifully giving birth and many more. Dancers will not only be seen dancing but they will also be seen singing, drumming and acting as our ancestors once had it. African dance is a fun way for children to learn about their culture while able to stay in great physical shape.

A non-refundable registration fee of $40 for the first dancer and $10 for each additional family member living in the same household is due upon registration. Click Link To

First child full price. 2nd child 10% discount. Additional children at 2nd child discounted price. Family members must reside in same household.
